Shop Downtown During Duck Race Season | May 9 - May 18
The 24th Annual Vista Duck Race launches this Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Wave Waterpark from 1–4 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes entry to win over $10,000 in prizes as thousands of rubber ducks race down the Ripetide Slide at 2:30 p.m. Extra entries can be earned by purchasing Vista Bucks, shopping locally, or uploading selfies. The 'City Hall Cup' features a race between five autographed ducks, each representing a member of Vista’s City Council. Winners will receive a $25 Vista Bucks Card along with the autographed duck!
During Duck Race Season (May 9–18), shoppers can earn one duck entry for every $10 spent at any Downtown Vista business (limit four entries per receipt) by uploading a photo of their receipt at VistaDuckRace.com. Several businesses are also offering meal deals and other promotions during Duck Race Season!
