Shop Downtown During Duck Race Season | May 9 - May 18
The 24th Annual Vista Duck Race launches on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Wave Waterpark from 1–4 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes entry to win over $10,000 in prizes as thousands of rubber ducks race down the Ripetide Slide at 2:30 p.m. Extra entries can be earned by purchasing Vista Bucks, shopping locally, uploading selfies, or joining the “City Hall Challenge,” where five autographed ducks race on behalf of Vista’s City Council and winners receive a $25 Vista Bucks Card and an autographed duck!
During Duck Race Season (May 9–18), shoppers can earn one duck entry for every $10 spent at any Downtown Vista business (limit four entries per receipt) by uploading a photo of their receipt at VistaDuckRace.com. Several businesses are also offering meal deals and other promotions during Duck Race Season!
